Although everything is within walking distance, taxis can be found in front of the door with expected wait time of less than a minute.

The refurbishment of Ivy House was completed in 2021 and has since been seen as Cartagena’s latest and greatest luxury villa that is ready to host large groups for short term stays.

Enjoy spectacular views of the the old city from rooms that come equipped with private balconies, high ceilings, queen to king sized beds, closet space, air conditioning, fans, workstations, and premium rooms include smart televisions, safes, and specialized soundproofing. Each room comes equipped with a private ensuite, hot water and all the amenities for your comfort.

There is high speed WIFI with strong relays on every floor including the roof, giving you everything you need for a wonderful stay.

The house has a large living room with 2 main entertaining areas. The first is the living room that has comfy couches, teak tables, a large smart television, a working bar, stereo with ceiling speakers and a large teak dining table that seats 12 people. The second entertaining area is the rooftop which has spectacular views and is situated in front of Cartagena’s most impressive historic churches. On the rooftop you will find a pool with side bar and water feature, a large pergola that shades an industrial kitchen, bar and ice machine. The pool is surrounded by built in lighting, seating, decking, and sun chairs within the greenery of the outer walls.

The roof is perfect for hosting events of all types and certainly be a spot frequented by your group.

Another amazing benefit is that the house is also a gallery for local artists who have draped the walls with colorful pieces that can be purchased directly from the artist who will come and prepare it for your journey back to your country.

Our Team

During your time at Ivy House Cartagena, you will receive hotel quality yet have the property privately.

Cleaning staff operate between 8am - 4pm. They will clean the common areas and your room every day.

Butlers will be onsite for your entire trip. The butler will also be of service to you, manage the front door and render any repairs required.

Our staff will also prepare your breakfasts with any groceries you have in the fridge upon request.
